The quality of artesian water in Odesa's fountains is regularly monitored by the State Institution «Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine».
According to an agreement with the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center», water testing is conducted once a month.
Based on recent microbiological studies, as of October 2025, the purified drinking water from the fountain complexes meets the hygienic requirements of DSanPin 2.2.4-171-10.
Protocols of the studies are available for review at all fountain complexes.

Information
There are 17 fountains in Odesa with well depths ranging from 111 to 149 meters. All fountains are managed by the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center». It is estimated that around 45,000 residents use the fountain services daily. The average water consumption from one fountain is between 8 to 12 cubic meters. Well water is accessible to everyone.
