The educational and practical forum titled «Sensory Therapy and Rehabilitation: Pathways to New Opportunities» took place in Odesa, organized by the Ukrainian Scientific Research Institute of Rehabilitation and Resortology.

This event was supported by the city’s «Veteran Hub» service office.

The forum aimed to support specialists helping military personnel cope with the effects of stress and trauma by restoring the connection between body and emotions.

The program featured modern approaches to sensory, sound, and art therapy, along with workshops on canine-assisted therapy and psychophysical recovery.

Participants included psychologists from the National Guard of Ukraine and experts who assist military personnel and civilians affected by the war.

«All the contemporary methods we presented focus on emotional recovery and adaptation to civilian life», said leading physical therapist Svitlana Trapeznikova.

The organizers highlighted that the forum united science, practice, and humanity.
