According to the Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the incidence of ARVI and flu in Odesa is at seasonal levels and is 31% below the epidemic threshold.

In the past week, 2564 residents of Odesa were reported to have ARVI and flu, with children under 17 accounting for 70.2% of the cases.

Meanwhile, COVID-19 cases in Odesa decreased by 2.1 times, with nine confirmed cases, all among children. Free COVID-19 vaccination points continue to operate in the city’s family clinics.

There were 42 cases of acute intestinal infections last week, with 61.9% being children.

Isolated cases of viral hepatitis and airborne infections were recorded. No cases of diphtheria, measles, rubella, or tetanus were reported during the week.

The epidemiological situation in Odesa remains stable and under control.
