On December 20, 2024, the Odesa Literary Museum hosted the grand opening of the 5th Choir Festival «Christmas Fire», organized by the T. I. Boieva Artistic School No. 15. 

The Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration of the Odesa City Council, Ivan Liptuga, welcomed participants with Christmas greetings, wishing them continued success in showcasing Odesa's talents. 

Christmas musical performances were presented by choirs from artistic schools in Odesa and musical institutions in the Odesa region, leaving the audience with unforgettable impressions. 

As part of the festival, a scientific-methodological conference titled «Christmas Songs in Contemporary Choral Music» was also held.

The conference discussed the development of Ukrainian folk singing and innovations in choir work within Ukraine's musical education system.

The second festival day, December 23, 2024, will be dedicated to remote performances by various collectives. This year, choirs and ensembles from several major and small cities in Ukraine, including Odesa, Chornomorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, and Stryzhavka, will participate. Additionally, groups from Norway and Moldova have joined in support.
