On November 24, 2024, at 2:00 PM, the final tour of the exhibition «Revival» will take place at the Odessa Municipal Museum of Personal Collections named after O.V. Bleschunov.

This memorial exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the Odessa painter and graphic artist Oleksandr Yosypovych Shkuripat (1964—2008).

The tour will be conducted by Eduard Ratushnyak, an Odessa journalist and admirer of the artist's work.

At the «Revival» exhibition in the Bleschunov House, you will find paintings from the series: «Odessa and its Environs», «City of Fish», «My Ukraine», «The Abduction of Europe». Personal works left by the master for himself and his family as reminders of his creative journey will also be on display. Visitors will see these rarities for the first time.

«Shkuripat was among the few who decisively rejected socialist realism in painting and breathed new life into decorative folklore, anticipating an informal interest in Ukrainian culture and history in Odessa, paving a new path in national art for generations of artists», — shares Eduard Ratushnyak.
