Following the Russian attacks on the night of September 25, there are power outages affecting four sections of the railway network. Train operations have been restored using backup diesel locomotives, as reported by JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" on Facebook.
“There are no casualties, however, the infrastructure has sustained damage,” the company stated.
As of 08:00, train movements continue under backup diesel locomotives, with delays noted for the following trains:
- №53/54 Odesa-Glavna - Dnipro-Hlavnyi (+5:09);
- №253/254 Odesa-Glavna - Kryvyi Rih-Hlavnyi (+5:09);
- №7/8 Odesa-Glavna - Kharkiv-Pas. (+4:47);
- №147/148 Kyiv-Pas. - Odesa-Glavna (+2:01);
- №127/128 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:18);
- №31/32 Przemyśl - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:17);
- №51/52 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Odesa-Glavna (+1:10);
- №91/92 Odesa-Glavna - Kramatorsk (+1:02).
Due to the attacks, sections of the railway infrastructure in Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions have experienced power outages.
