Filming is done! We have finished shooting the film «Dovzhenko»

This biopic serves as a chronicle of the quest for truth, beauty, and the spirit of the era. It is symbolic that we filmed this piece in Odessa and Kyiv — the places where it all began.

Each scene is a recreation of the past, a love letter to Ukrainian cinema, dedicated to a director who viewed the world as an artist and created as a master. Dovzhenko didn’t just make films; he lived them.

We aimed to do the same: to walk this path under challenging conditions, yet with an incredible belief in the power of Ukrainian cinema.

Thank you to the entire team — from actors to lighting technicians, from artists to sound engineers. You achieved the impossible: creating something greater than just a film.

The premiere is scheduled for 2026 — to mark the 100th anniversary of the director's work at the Odessa Film Studio.
