A delegation consisting of representatives from the UN Secretary's office, including experts from the UN Development Programme, the UN Office for Project Services, and the UN Population Fund, is visiting Odessa.

This visit, organized by UNDP in Ukraine, marks a significant step in enhancing cooperation with international agencies.

During their visit, the delegation toured various projects supported by the UN.

The city mayor expressed gratitude for the assistance provided to Odessa, particularly in the renovation of a hospital department.

Gennady Trukhanov emphasized that while the hospital does not provide emergency services, it has saved numerous lives by receiving victims from attack sites. Thanks to the skilled staff and modern equipment, timely medical assistance is provided.

Meeting participants also discussed future cooperation steps, including attracting international investments for infrastructure projects such as the reconstruction of sewage systems and the construction of housing for internally displaced persons.
