In Odesa, innovative approaches have been established for collaboration with international humanitarian organizations to swiftly address the consequences of military attacks. This was announced by Acting Mayor Oleksandr Filatov during a meeting organized by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

The meeting was attended by representatives from UN agencies and international NGOs operating in Odesa and the region, including the mayor's advisor on humanitarian issues, Veronika Etnarovich, the Director of the Department of Labor and Social Policy, Olena Kytainska, and the Director of the Department of Health, Levon Nikogosyan.

“Right now, in the Khadzhybei district of the city, utility workers are dealing with the aftermath of a nighttime attack. Alongside them, staff from international humanitarian organizations and charitable foundations are helping local authorities and those affected by the attack. We appreciate such crucial and necessary cooperation,” emphasized Oleksandr Filatov.

Oleksandr Filatov also presented the current needs and priorities for the city of Odesa for 2025.

Additionally, the parties discussed the incoming aid from international partners for the upcoming year.
