The Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland in Ukraine, Piotr Lukasiewicz.

The Polish delegation visited Odessa as part of the Black Sea Security Forum, a platform for international dialogue on security in the Black Sea region.

Mr. Lukasiewicz noted that it was his first visit to Odessa, and he was deeply impressed by the city's history, culture, and the resilience of its residents in these challenging times.

Also present at the meeting was the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa, Jacek Gocłowski.

The participants discussed the current situation in Ukraine and Poland, emphasizing the importance of preserving historical memory.

Additionally, they explored prospects for enhancing economic and cultural cooperation, including organizing a Polish culture festival in Odessa.
