Police are investigating the circumstances of a tragic accident that occurred near Peresyp Bridge, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident took place on March 4, around 7 PM.

The head of the transport crime investigation department of the Odessa region police, Dmytro Slyuta, stated that a 53-year-old driver of a DAF truck, while driving on Otaman Holovaty Street towards Balkivska Street, struck a woman who was crossing the road during a turn.

"Unfortunately, the woman, whose identity is still being established, succumbed to her injuries," the police commented.
