Today, April 8, around 9:00 AM on the Odessa-Reni highway near the village of Sarata in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, a tragic traffic accident occurred. This was reported by the press service of the Odessa Regional Police. Preliminary information indicates that a 47-year-old woman from the Plakhtiyivka community, driving a Chevrolet sedan towards Sarata, crossed into oncoming traffic, where her vehicle collided with a Mercedes truck with a semi-trailer heading towards Odessa. The driver of the sedan was hospitalized but unfortunately died from her injuries. The truck driver, a 51-year-old resident of the Podilskyi district, will be tested for intoxication. An investigative team and patrol police are working at the site. Legal qualifications will be provided after all circumstances are established.
