On April 16, in the village of Hetmanivka in the Podilskyi district, a tragic event occurred resulting in the death of a 30-year-old man. He died at the scene before emergency services arrived.

The man's mother contacted the police, stating that an explosion from an unknown device occurred in the summer kitchen where her son was located.

Preliminary information suggests that he detonated a grenade of unknown origin on his property.

Specialists from the regional police's explosive ordnance disposal unit are working at the site.
