Fortunately, no one was harmed due to the recklessness of the teenagers. Law enforcement conducted discussions with the children and issued administrative protocols against their parents, who may face fines.

Recently, during an online monitoring session, police discovered a video in which a group of teenagers mixed hazardous chemical substances in a bottle in the entrance of a multi-story building, leading to an explosion.

Juvenile inspectors from the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi police department managed to identify and locate the boys.

Officers found that the 12-year-old local friends decided to replicate an experiment they saw on social media.

“These families had not previously come to the attention of law enforcement. We warned the boys about the inadmissibility of such antics, and reminded their parents of the need to supervise their sons. Administrative protocols were drawn up against the adults under part 1 of Article 184 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, which pertains to the failure of parents or guardians to fulfill their legal obligations to provide necessary conditions for the life, education, and upbringing of minors. This offense is punishable by a fine of up to 1,700 UAH. The administrative materials have been sent to court,” commented the head of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi police department, Pavlo Bobchynskyi.

Police urge parents to pay more attention to their children, explaining the dangers posed by household chemicals and other substances that can explode, and the consequences of unlawful actions.
