A tragic event has occurred in Odesa: a cadet of the Military Academy was found dead, and an investigation is ongoing. This was reported on the official Facebook page of the academy.
«On November 26, 2025, a tragic incident occurred. One of the cadets – freshman Pavlo S. – was found outside the unit's premises without signs of life», the academy stated.
It is noted that the leadership of the institution is cooperating with the investigators, and a service investigation has been appointed. Preliminary results have already led to a number of personnel decisions. All circumstances are being clarified.
«The preliminary qualification by law enforcement agencies is suicide. However, the version of abuse of office is being checked. If confirmed, all responsible will face legal consequences. The Academy's leadership expresses sincere condolences to the family and loved ones», the message says.
