The wife of a former MP who fled to Russia will stand trial for treason. She founded an IT company in Moscow that has been developing software for the Russian military and special services since 2014.

This was reported by the Odessa regional prosecutor's office.

Investigators found that the wife of a former Ukrainian MP, who was the leader of the political party "Rodina" and left for Russia in 2014, established an IT company in Moscow. The company developed software for enterprises and institutions linked to the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and special services. In 2023, the company implemented software for military helicopters such as the Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N "Night Hunter", and Ka-52 «Alligator», which are used in the armed aggression against Ukraine.

Following the prosecutors' request, an arrest was placed on the accused's real estate. Currently, elite residential property and a plot of land in Odessa have been transferred to the management of ARMA. The accused is on the run and will be tried in absentia.
