Police apprehended a 50-year-old homeless man for setting fire to a vehicle. His actions were motivated by a grievance against the car's owner. The suspect has been charged and faces up to 10 years in prison.

Recently, emergency services alerted the police about a Volkswagen vehicle fire on a street in the Peresyp district. Within three hours, officers determined that the arsonist was a 50-year-old man without a permanent residence.
Investigators collected several pieces of evidence to be sent for examination. They also discovered that the individual committed the crime as revenge against the 30-year-old car owner for refusing him entry into the entrance of the apartment building where his friend lives.
"We detained the suspect and informed him of the charges of deliberately damaging someone else's property through arson. According to part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, this crime is punishable by up to ten years in prison. The court has chosen to keep the suspect in custody with the possibility of bail set at 121,120 UAH. The extent of damages to the victim is being determined.
