On October 19, 2024, the third stage of the Ukrainian cross-country championships took place in Victory Park, Odessa. The event featured athletes from across Ukraine competing in 12 age categories over distances of 1, 3, 4, 6, and 8 km.

More than 60 qualified athletes participated, including representatives from Odessa.

In the 1 km race, the best times were recorded by Odessa's Yelyzaveta Sheremeta (4:29) and Andriy Zasnov (4:55).

The fastest runners in the 3 km event were Ksenia Danyliuk (19:54) and Vyacheslav Balashov (14:00).

Volodymyr Peresunko achieved the best result in the 4 km race with a time of 29:48.

In the 6 km race, Hanna Hilyanchuk finished in second place, losing to an athlete from Chernihiv region, while Roman Stoyanov secured first place in the 8 km race with a time of 30:19.

Following the four stages and the finals, the composition of the national team of Ukraine will be determined for participation in the European Championship, scheduled for December 8 in Turkey.

The event was organized by the Ukrainian Athletics Federation in collaboration with the SEASIDE RUNNERS ODS and supported by the Odessa City Council.
