Last week, Odesa welcomed the Ambassador of the Odesa Golf Club in Turkey, Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali. Previously, he lived and worked in Odesa for many years, representing the Association of Ukrainian and Turkish Entrepreneurs and participating in the reconstruction of the Odesa Specialized Psychoneurological Children's Home 'Sonechko'.

During this year's visit, Mr. Ozgur visited the 'Sonechko' Children's Home, where he interacted with the children and medical staff, and also visited Library No. 21 of the Centralized Library System for Children, where he conducted a golf masterclass.

As noted by Hanna Lunova, Acting Head of the Maternal and Child Health Protection Sector of the Health Department, Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali assured that further cooperation and sponsorship support from the sister city of Istanbul will continue.

On February 17, the Odesa Golf Club organized a masterclass at Library Branch No. 21 for students of Lyceum No. 81, featuring Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali. The children learned golf techniques, hit their first balls, and received prizes.

Additionally, the Ambassador spoke about the activities of golf clubs in Turkey and the engagement of children in schools and libraries.

During the visit, plans for collaboration between Bodrum and Odesa were outlined to promote Olympic sports, particularly golf.
