The competition took place from March 14 to 18 at the Western Rehabilitation Sports Center of the NCSIU.
Athletes from 13 regions of Ukraine competed in events for individuals with disabilities affecting their mobility and vision.
Representing Odesa was Andriy Dudnik, an athlete from the Odesa Regional Center «Invasport» and a reserve member of the national Ukrainian Paralympic team in para skiing and biathlon, trained by Serhiy Petrishchev. Andriy showed remarkable determination and spirit in the competitions among athletes of class LW 10-12 (sitting):
- 6th place – 1.6 km sprint (qualification in freestyle)
- 6th and 7th place – 5 km race (freestyle).
