From April 4 to 8, the Ukrainian Wushu Championship for adults, juniors, and youth (sanda light) was held in Brovary (Kyiv region).

About 200 athletes from 10 regions of Ukraine participated in the event.

The team from Odessa was represented by students from Sports School No. 1.

The champions included Marina Yazikova, Valeria Blagodyr, Irina Mizina, and Erika-Yuliana Chen.

Alexander Oliynyk secured a bronze medal, while Ivan Agayev won silver among older juniors.

The Odessa team finished first in the overall team standings.
