Details: Users on social media report issues with banking apps, "Nova Poshta", "Dія", "Kyiv Digital", and others.

Gorokhovskyi suggested that a hacker attack might have targeted one of the major data centers.

KMDА stated that due to a technical failure at "Oschadbank", contactless payment for metro rides is currently unavailable.

At the moment, payment for rides can be made using:

  • a transport card;
  • a qr code generated in the Kyiv Digital app;
  • a paper qr ticket.

Updated: It later became known that the issue was not due to a cyberattack, but rather a power outage during scheduled work at the De Novo data center.
