The Ukrainian women's basketball team under 18 will compete against Iceland in their fifth match of Division B of the European Championship taking place in Lithuania on July 9.

The team, coached by Inna Kochubey, will take to the court at 1:00 PM Kyiv time, reports Ukrinform.

In other matches of the final round of Group C, Azerbaijan will face Kosovo, while Lithuania will play against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The standings are currently: Lithuania - 8 points, Ukraine - 7, Iceland - 6, Azerbaijan - 6, Bosnia and Herzegovina - 5, Kosovo - 4.

Remember, the top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.

It’s noteworthy that the Ukrainian team won against Kosovo (62:51), Azerbaijan (78:65), and Bosnia and Herzegovina (81:76) during the group stage. However, just before this match, the 'blue and yellow' team lost to Lithuania with a score of 46:75 (11:18, 13:14, 6:19, 16:24).
