On July 10, an introductory event dedicated to the paralympic sport of fencing for war veterans and persons with disabilities took place in Odesa at the sports hall of the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 13.

The open training session was conducted by esteemed Ukrainian fencing coach Oleksandr Vasyutin and Olympic champion Olena Kravatska.

Future training sessions for veterans and individuals with disabilities are planned to be held on a daily basis.
