From August 28 to September 1, the All-Ukrainian Sambo Wrestling Tournament «Cup of Young Ukraine» took place in Uzhhorod at the «Yunist» sports complex.

The competition gathered nearly 500 participants from 21 regions of the country.

In the team standings for cadets, the boys' team from Odesa won, while the girls' team from Kyiv took the top spot.

The athletes from Odesa's Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 4 performed excellently as part of the team.

In the cadet competitions, Kyrylo Vasylynych (79 kg) earned a silver medal, while Dmytro Budish (88 kg) took home bronze.

In the older boys' category, the champion was Artur Amiryan (88 kg), with silver medals going to Yegor Dubinienko (79 kg) and Ivan Maksuta (88 kg), and Kiryl Vasylynych (79 kg) won bronze.

In the junior competitions, Oleg Pryima (64 kg) secured a bronze medal.

The athletes were trained by coaches Oleg Spivak, Fedor Fomenkov, and Oleksandr Skypka.
