A new hot meal system for elementary school students has been implemented in two districts of Odesa, while two more districts are completing tender processes.

Today, on November 14, Odesa's mayor, Hennadiy Trukhanov, inspected the food organization and spoke with students and parents at one of the largest schools in the Kyiv district.

Additionally, the mayor participated in school training conducted during alerts. Recently, work on expanding the shelter has been completed.

"Every day, nearly 2000 children study here, attending classes in shifts to comply with safety requirements. Previously, the shelter could accommodate only 250 people, which was insufficient. A decision was made to expand it, and all conditions for this were created. Today, the shelter can hold twice as many people", - summarized Odesa's mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
