Due to the military aggression from the Russian Federation, the number of individuals with disabilities in Ukraine is steadily increasing, particularly those with severe impairments (multiple limb amputations, spinal injuries, traumatic brain injuries).

These individuals require assistive rehabilitation devices to restore functionality and ensure effective rehabilitation.

The government guarantees access to high-quality modern prosthetics and other rehabilitation tools, enabling individuals to regain lost functions, adapt to new circumstances, and return to an active social life.

All relevant information regarding the state prosthetics program is compiled on a single resource — the online platform protez.msp.gov.ua, launched by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine and the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities.

Within the framework of this program, individuals can receive prosthetics or other rehabilitation devices free of charge, as well as services for their repair, replacement, and maintenance. Support is provided at all stages — from submitting an application to receiving the actual product.

The Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities is responsible for the free provision of rehabilitation devices. The Ministry of Social Policy continuously improves the state rehabilitation program to make the process of obtaining assistance as simple and accessible as possible.
