In the village of Krynychne, Bolhrad district, a recipe book is being created that will showcase culinary masterpieces from local hosts. So far, 60 unique dishes have been collected, prepared by our grandmothers.
The initiative “Center for Talent Development” from Krynychne shared insights about the material collection process for this culinary compilation.
The project coordinator, Sofia Kurteva, is actively gathering materials, conversing with local hosts, and editing recipes.
Currently, around 60 dishes from 20 women in the village have been processed. The book will be divided into several thematic sections: traditional festive dishes, seasonal recipes, ritual dishes (St. George's Day, Easter, etc.), home preserves, baking, and desserts.
Soon, project participants will begin photographing the cooking process. Simultaneously, text editing continues, with clarifications on names, ingredients, and techniques. The Center also plans to involve new hosts to expand the recipe collection.
