On the night of September 6-7, Odesa was attacked by drones from the Russian Federation. The Botanical Garden of Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov was hit, resulting in damage to greenhouses and some rare plants.
“Friends, we are in trouble. Today there was a strike. Our greenhouses have been damaged. We need help,” – wrote the director of the Botanical Garden, Lyudmila Levchuk, on her page.
Anyone willing can assist the botanical garden staff in cleaning up the area and rescuing the surviving plants. You can join the charity event tomorrow, September 8, at 10:00 AM at the address: French Boulevard, 48/50.
