On September 2, during the City Day celebrations, the traditional awards ceremony took place at the Stock Exchange Square. 
The title of «Honorary Citizen of Odessa» was awarded to Ruven Mordkovich Shvarzman.
Ruven Shvarzman is a person who endured the horrors of the ghetto yet remained unbroken. He dedicated his life to public service, fighting for truth, and preserving the memory of Holocaust victims. His voice, especially in the German Bundestag, helps Ukraine receive genuine support from international partners.

The Honorary Award of the Odessa Mayor «ODESSA» was presented to Mariluise Beck, director for Eastern and Central Europe at the Center for Liberal Modernity. This award was given for her extensive support of Odessa residents during wartime and her significant contributions to fostering cooperation with German partners.

The Honorary Award of the Odessa Mayor «ODESSA» was awarded to city council member and former lord of Bristol, Mr. Paul Goggin, for his broad support of Odessa residents during wartime. Paul Goggin brought two fire trucks as gifts for the city on its Day.

The Honorary Award named after Grigory Grigorievich Marazli, II degree, was awarded to Leonid Kryuchkov, chairman of the supervisory board of «STIKON», Honorary Citizen of Odessa. He received the award for his long-term diligent work, high professionalism, and significant contributions to the development of the construction sector and the city's cultural heritage and social infrastructure.
