Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a significant meeting with representatives from the American Chamber of Commerce, focusing on the importance of US support for Ukraine.
The Office of the President announced this event on July 2, stating that participants included representatives from companies like Horizon Capital, Cisco Systems, Unilever, Carlsberg, and many others.
Among the attendees were also representatives from Pfizer, Google, Baker Hughes, and others, including the president of the American Chamber of Commerce, Andriy Gunder.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to the American business community for their presence in Ukraine, indicating it shows the country's stability. He emphasized the critical need for US support.
The President noted that concerns about a reduction in US aid are troubling, as the Patriot systems protect everyone in Ukraine from aggression.
Andriy Gunder highlighted that 88 chamber members have relatives serving in the Armed Forces, and 53% of companies have suffered damages from Russian attacks.
He urged the US government to provide protection for businesses operating in Ukraine.
Meeting participants stressed the importance of continuing support and strengthening Ukraine's air defense.
Recently, American media reported on the suspension of certain types of military aid to Ukraine.
Zelensky stated that details regarding military assistance are being clarified at working levels.
