One of the top priorities for the government is to enhance digital services for veterans. Ukrainians can now access an electronic veteran ID through the Diia app.
This document is available to over 1 million individuals, who can utilize it in various situations such as applying for a mortgage or receiving social services without carrying a physical copy.
The ID is available for:
• war veterans;
• combat participants;
• people with war-related disabilities;
• participants of the Revolution of Dignity;
• families of deceased veterans;
• families of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
How to add your veteran ID in Diia:
- download the Diia app and select "Add Document";
- choose "Veteran ID" and consent to access data from other registries;
- click "Add" and wait a few moments for the document to appear.
What if the document is not found?
This may mean that your information was not included in the State Register of War Veterans. You can call the Unified Veteran Line at 0 800 505 217 for assistance.
Where to use the e-Veteran ID
