During the night, the Russian army launched drone attacks on the Odesa region. Air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed over twenty enemy UAVs. This was reported by the Southern Defense Command.

On the night of June 20 to 21, the air defense in southern Ukraine shot down 28 enemy strike drones of the "Shahed" type and other UAVs. Out of these, 24 were eliminated in the Odesa region.

"One imitation drone was lost in the process," the agency added.
