A hostile strike occurred on the Odessa-Zaporizhzhia route. Emergency services are on-site, and passengers were moved to safety. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

"As a result of the attack, train No. 52 Odessa-Zaporizhzhia sustained damage. Rescue teams quickly arrived to assist, and passengers were relocated to shelters due to the ongoing air raid alert in the area," the official statement reads.

Ukrzaliznytsia also mentioned preparations for a replacement train service to transport passengers to Zaporizhzhia. The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, noted that civilian infrastructure was damaged, including a dormitory, a gymnasium, and administrative buildings. There are reports of injuries among passengers and fatalities.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties among the passengers and railway workers of train No. 52 Odessa-Zaporizhzhia at the site of the enemy missile strike. Injured passengers are receiving medical attention."

"To facilitate transport of passengers to Zaporizhzhia, Ukrzaliznytsia has scheduled an additional electric train to depart from Dnipro around 1:00 PM," the press service of UZ reported.
