Odesa has once again come under fire from enemy drones. The residential infrastructure has suffered significant damage.
According to the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, a fire broke out on the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of a 21-story residential building as a result of the strike. People were trapped in their apartments due to heavy smoke and high temperatures, making it difficult for rescuers to reach them. Firefighters were simultaneously rescuing individuals and extinguishing the blaze.
Five people were rescued, including one small child.
Preliminary reports indicate that two individuals lost their lives.
As of the morning, information about four injured individuals is available.
Psychologists from emergency services are working on-site.
The situation has been complicated by repeated air raid alerts.
The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, and all relevant agencies promptly arrived at the scene of the tragedy.
