Over the past week, Russia executed attacks on Ukraine using more than 1,800 drones, over 1,200 aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, citing information from Ukrinform.

"In seven days, Russia has intensified its strikes on Ukraine: over 1800 drones, more than 1200 bombs, and 83 missiles. This is part of the terror against the civilian population aimed at instilling fear in our people," the head of state noted.

Zelensky emphasized that despite Moscow's plans, the air defense forces are showing good results.

"Interceptor drones are performing exceptionally well – hundreds of Iranian drones have been shot down this week," he added.

The President mentioned that every meeting with partners this week focused on scaling up this technology.

Zelensky thanked everyone willing to invest in protection and the soldiers who guard Ukraine's skies.

He stressed that the "Shaheds" are one of Russia's methods to prolong the war. "We must neutralize this threat to allow diplomacy to operate more effectively," he said.

The head of state expressed hope for the fulfillment of all agreements that will reinforce Ukraine's defense, as well as strong decisions from the USA, Europe, G7 countries, and all partners.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of July 12, cities across Ukraine were under Russian attack, with 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones launched by the Russians.
