On the evening of August 7, a significant drone assault was launched against Ukraine, with Russian forces deploying 104 Shahed drones, various imitation UAVs, and 8 high-speed drones. Out of these, 82 targets were neutralized, but impacts were also recorded.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.

According to the Air Force: "As of 8:00 AM, the air defense has destroyed or suppressed 82 targets: 3 rocket drones and 79 enemy Shahed UAVs and imitation drones across different regions of the country. There have been 26 recorded hits in 10 locations, with debris falling in 8 areas".

The aggressors launched drones from cities such as Shatalovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
