Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia, Ukraine has recorded 1,330 individuals injured due to mines and explosive remnants, including 135 children. This was reported by the Main Directorate for Mine Action on their Facebook page.
As of October 1, 2025, a total of 1,330 people have suffered from hostile mines, with 135 being children and 1,195 adults.
The most affected professions include farmers with 243 cases, critical infrastructure workers with 137 cases, and drivers with 88 cases.
Additionally, students account for 121 injuries, the unemployed 148, and pensioners 116.
The agency noted that data collection is conducted systematically in compliance with the requirements of international protocols regarding the use of specific types of conventional weapons.
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies are opening criminal cases for each incident of detonation among the civilian population due to Russian mines.
A dedicated database and interactive map assist government and humanitarian organizations in informing the population about risks associated with explosive devices and providing assistance to mine-injured individuals.
