Last night, Ukraine faced a combined assault from Russia, with over 50 missiles and around 500 drones launched. The attack included cruise missiles, «Shaheds», and «Kinzhal» missiles. Regions hit include Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, and Kirovohrad.

As of now, approximately 10 individuals have been reported injured due to the attack. Unfortunately, 5 people have lost their lives. Our sincere condolences go out to everyone who has lost loved ones in this terror.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his address.

According to him, rescue and recovery operations are ongoing in affected areas. The head of state is receiving regular updates from Interior Minister Igor Klymenko, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba, and regional military administration heads.

«I expect the government to act swiftly and effectively to address the aftermath in the affected regions», — noted Zelensky.

The President emphasized that today the Russians targeted Ukrainian infrastructure again, hitting everything that ensures a normal life for people.
«We need more protection, faster implementation of all defense agreements, especially regarding air defense, to render this aerial terror pointless. A unilateral ceasefire in the sky is possible and could pave the way for true diplomacy. America and Europe must act to make Putin stop», — stressed Volodymyr Zelensky.
