The Odesa region experienced a large-scale attack by Russia using strike drones, as reported by the State Emergency Service.
The strikes caused extensive fires in warehouses containing textile products (fabrics, clothing, footwear, etc.) and sewing equipment, covering an area of over 5,000 sq. m. Additionally, one vehicle was destroyed.
The response to the attack was complicated by heavy firefighting demands and the lack of fire-fighting water supply at the site. Firefighters managed to establish a continuous water supply from nearby water sources.
According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
A total of 16 units of equipment and 56 rescuers from the State Emergency Service were involved, along with the KZ “CBG Avant-garde,” a firefighting unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, and the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine.
Efforts to mitigate the consequences of the enemy attack are ongoing.
