Within the National Park «Tuzlovski Lymany», an incident of unauthorized fencing for sheep grazing has been reported.
Park employees discovered that an unknown individual had fenced off a plot of land to keep sheep. This was reported by park representative Ivan Rusev.
“A man without permission has taken over a beautiful natural area between the old river meanders, enclosing his flock with a fence to prevent his sheep from escaping and others from entering. He is not engaging in proper grazing, instead profiting from illegal land use, which is damaging the natural habitat,” he stated.
Ivan Rusev added that the park administration is currently searching for the violator and preparing necessary materials for the police.
This is not the first case of land seizure for livestock grazing; similar incidents were recorded in 2018 and 2020.
