Every day, around 180 employees of the Municipal Enterprise work to maintain the city's green spaces. They care for trees and flowerbeds, remove the aftermath of bad weather, and plant new trees to beautify the city with flowers.

Since the beginning of the year, the team has pruned 81,187 rose bushes and performed formative pruning on 464 ornamental weeping trees.

On their designated territories, the enterprise has overseen the seeding of lawn grasses over an area of 18,723 sq. m., weeding of flowerbeds covering 164,183 sq. m., and the removal of 2,519 dry branches. Additionally, they have cleaned up random litter covering 42,988 hectares and cleared lawns of branches, leaves, and garbage, totaling 164.68 cubic meters.

Every spring, the greenery specialists of the Municipal Enterprise begin creating new floral compositions. This year, they planted 2,880 sq. m of spring flowerbeds from seedlings, and after the spring flowers fade, they replace them with summer flowers across 4,117 sq. m. A total of 41,476 perennial plants have also been planted.

Last summer, the city was adorned with 88 vertical flower bowls.

All flowers for the spring and summer flowerbeds are grown in the greenhouses of the Municipal Enterprise “Rose”.

Moreover, the Municipal Enterprise continues its work on greening the streets, parks, and squares of the city. In 2024, a total of 3,246 trees (3,102 deciduous and 144 coniferous) and 3,104 shrubs have been planted.

The planting activities span all city districts. All trees are over 10 years old, significantly increasing the survival rate of saplings in an urban environment.

The enterprise also conducts ongoing repairs of park furniture, playgrounds, and sports facilities located in Odessa's parks.

To preserve the city's green vegetation, employees regularly remove advertising signs placed on trees, which can lead to various plant diseases.
