The Mayor of Odesa held an on-site meeting to discuss the status of restoration efforts for a building partially destroyed by a Russian attack on March 2.

«Everyone who applied for the eRecovery program has received compensation for repairs or a certificate for housing purchase. The work is progressing slower than desired due to lengthy construction processes. I am grateful to our partners - both public and charitable organizations,» said Gennadiy Trukhanov.

The Mayor thanked the charitable foundations "Reach for the Sky," "Morning of Revival," the NGO "April 10th," and UNHCR for their ongoing support and provision of construction materials.

The work is being carried out by the management company "Clever" with the support and coordination of the Odesa Mayor's advisor on humanitarian issues, Veronika Etnarovich.

Currently, tons of debris have been removed from the apartments. The roof over the last stairwell and the stairwell itself have been repaired from the first to the ninth floor.

The area around the impact site has also been landscaped, where people continue to bring flowers. On March 2, 2024, as a result of the Russian attack, 12 people lost their lives here, including five children.
