In Odesa, there is an ongoing modernization of technical resources for municipal enterprises aimed at winter road maintenance. This year, the Municipal Roads Company has added new PRONAR SPT40 spreaders to its fleet.

This equipment is specifically designed for treating street networks during winter using salt-based agents. The new machines are intended for use with trucks weighing over 10 tons.

The PRONAR SPT40 spreaders are equipped with a system that allows for the adjustment of treatment volumes, significantly enhancing their effectiveness. Monitoring and management of operational parameters along with the activation of brine spraying are performed directly from the driver's cabin using an intuitive control panel with a display.

These new spreaders are powered by a two-cylinder air-cooled diesel engine and can be activated remotely via a control panel.
The spreading system components are made from stainless steel, ensuring resistance to corrosion and long-lasting durability.

Compared to older equipment, the new spreaders allow for adjustments in spreading density, changes in spreading programs, and feature a wider spreading width, as well as stainless steel spreading discs.

Overall, the company maintains 61 units of winter maintenance equipment, including the new models.

Most of this equipment has been in use for more than 10 years, although the recommended service life for such machines is 5 years.

Specialists from the municipal enterprise are responsible for maintaining the technical condition of the equipment independently. Currently, preparations are underway for the new equipment to be ready for winter.
