This week, medical professionals from the Primary Health Care Center No. 16 conducted a mobile vaccination for employees of the Odesa Bread Factory No. 4, providing protection against diphtheria and tetanus.
A total of 75 employees received vaccines to prevent these serious diseases.
The Odesa City Health Department is actively implementing a vaccination plan initiated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the epidemiological well-being of the population.
Currently, approximately 84% of children eligible for immunization have been vaccinated according to the additional immunization plan. Vaccination against diphtheria and tetanus is essential not only for children but also for adults, who should have a booster every 10 years for sustained protection.
During wartime, ensuring vaccination coverage is crucial for preventing the rapid spread of infectious diseases, which poses a national health and security issue.
The City Health Department reminds that free mobile vaccination can be organized for groups.
Qualified medical staff carry out vaccinations, using vaccines that meet all quality certification requirements, stored and transported under proper temperature conditions.
Any groups wishing to arrange vaccinations for their employees can fill out the registration form or contact the Health Department at dep.oz@omr.gov.ua or by phone: (048) 753 14 36, (048) 753 15 75.
