According to current legislation, multidisciplinary hospitals are required to provide medical services in various specialties, one of which is cardiology.

To enhance the healthcare network in Odessa and improve the quality of medical assistance, renovation work is underway at City Clinical Hospital No. 11 to create a dedicated cardiology and cardiac surgery unit.

The new department will feature large and small operating rooms, an intensive care unit, an ultrasound room, a procedure room, a dressing room, and comfortable small patient wards. A new medical lift is being installed for patient transport, which was previously absent in the building.

Currently, structural reinforcements are being completed, with spaces being redesigned to meet medical requirements and adapted for modern use. Medical panels that adhere to European hygiene standards are being used for interior finishes.

Modern energy-efficient windows and doors are being installed, and engineering communications are being replaced. Once the renovation and landscaping are complete, the cardiology and cardiac surgery department will begin accepting patients who will receive qualified medical care in comfortable conditions.
