For the third consecutive day, Ukraine is experiencing an increase in electricity consumption.

This was reported by the company “Ukrenergo.”

According to their data, on April 9 at 9:30 AM, the level of electricity consumption was 1.1% higher than at the same time the previous day, which was Tuesday.

The company explains that this increase is due to the continued cold weather across Ukraine, including nighttime frosts.

It is noted that on April 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, exceeding the previous day’s maximum by 2%, which was Monday, April 7.

“Today, it remains essential to consume electricity wisely. Please limit the use of high-power appliances from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM,” emphasized “Ukrenergo.”

As a reminder, on the morning of April 7, electricity consumption in Ukraine exceeded the level of the previous working day, April 4, by 16% due to significant temperature drops.

On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain high. As of 9:30 AM, the level was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day, which was Monday.

“Ukrenergo” denied rumors about a possible return to power outages.
