The Arciz community from the Bolhrad district joined an expanded meeting of the presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, held in Kyiv and led by Andriy Yermak. The event took place via video conference and gathered over 330 participants from across the country, as reported by the Odesa Regional State Administration.
During the meeting, important issues regarding regional development, government initiatives in communities, and legislative support for regional policies were discussed.
Particular attention was given to the need for enhancing communication between local and central authorities, which would enable quicker responses to challenges and address community issues.
As a result of the voting, Liliya Pashynna was elected as the new head of the Congress Office — the leader of the Ukrainian delegation in the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.
The Arciz community, as an active participant in the Congress, will continue to engage in shaping development policies at the local level, advocating for the interests of residents and promoting the implementation of European management standards.
