The Diesel Show team is actively involved in the rehabilitation of individuals with disabilities in Odessa.
Diving opens new pathways for recovery and healing.
Underwater, individuals experience a sense of weightlessness, which is particularly beneficial for those who have undergone amputations. Water alleviates pressure on joints and muscles, allowing for relaxation while simultaneously providing a workout. Each movement in the water becomes smoother and more controlled, aiding in the restoration of coordination.
"By utilizing natural resources such as the sea and fresh air, we have been able to create optimal conditions for diving training. During one of the dives, the Diesel Show team joined us, helping our veterans engage confidently and enjoyably with the instructors," noted Vasyl Ryback, head of the city's health department rehabilitation service.
Additionally, the show artists visited adaptive billiards training sessions.
