In the Berezivka, Odesa, and Podilsk districts, law enforcement officers organized events where children delved into the world of forensics. This provided them with the opportunity to see various crime investigation methods, understand the importance of following the law, and perhaps consider their future career paths.

During meetings held at educational institutions and police stations, young people learned that forensic experts need to master crime scene examination techniques, effectively use technical devices, document and classify found evidence, analyze information obtained, and create databases. The quality of their work directly impacts whether a crime will be solved. Specialists shared personal experiences, citing numerous examples where even seemingly insignificant evidence helped identify criminals.

The youth were informed about the algorithm of police work at the crime scene, how evidence is collected, and were introduced to the basics of fingerprinting. Many eager participants learned to search for fingerprints of a hypothetical criminal at a simulated event and took fingerprints from individuals.

Officers also discussed the latest technology they utilize in their work: electrostatic lifting devices for uncovering shoe prints, rapid tests for checking substances for narcotic content, drones for assessing areas affected by shelling, floods, or fires, and a mobile DNA laboratory, among others.
